EARLY INTERVENTION UNIT

The Early Intervention Unit caters to the special needs of children from infantry to three years.

 

  • Physical (Reaching, rolling, crawling and walking)

  • Cognitive (Thinking, learning and solving problems)

  • Communication (Talking, listening and understanding)

  • Social / Emotional (Playing, feeling secure and happy)

  • Self –help 

The Early Intervention Services also include:

  • Workshops for the parents on the children's condition, handling  techniques, proper feeding and drinking, trunk control, oro motor and breathing exercises.

MULTIPLE DISABILITY UNIT

  • Early Idenfication and Early Intervention.

  • Multi Sensorial Approach.

  • Theme Based Training.

  • Natural Way of Training.

  • Orientation and Mobility Training.

  • Collaborating with Fraternity as referring to hospitals for Medical and Vision Assessments/Epileptic Consultation/ Spectacles.

  • Training the Staff on Multiple Disabilities.

  • Training the parents to prepare teaching learning material for children with multiple disabilities.

  • Conducting visual screening camps for children with the cooperation of eye hospital.

  • Exploring the nature through sensory garden.

  • Training the children to participate in extracurricular activities – sports and cultrual progrommes.

  • Documentation.
