INTEGRATED AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION
AMBIKA SISHU KENDRA (ASK) has networking with regular schools for inclusion of children with disabilities in the main stream. Some of the schools do not have trained staff or proper facilities to handle such children with disabilities resulting in their dropping out from the main stream schools.
Our Institute takes the responsibility of such children and sees that they are back in the main stream.
Ambika Sishu Kendra gives special coaching to the children with disabilities to complete 10th class public examinations under Andhra Pradesh Open School Service (APOSS) enjoying all the benefits and concessions provided for them.
SOCIAL SERVICES
Ambika Sishu Kendra always remembers its responsibility towards the society and takes up various activities for Awareness Creation in such a way that maximum number of members from the different strata come forward to fulfill their social responsibility. We are also educating and encouraging our children to advocate their rights and demand their due not only from the family but also from the society.
Enlightening the Special Children and their parents about their privileges, special rights, concessions and Govt., Schemes is the primary duty of a Service Centre. We take up issuing and updating Medical Certificates, Bus-Passes, Railway Concessions, Niramaya Health Cards, Guardianship, Students’ scholarships, pensions etc., under Advocacy.
